Through the practice of yoga we integrate all aspects of our being - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual - and discover our connection to ourselves, to others, and to the universe.

The practice of yoga improves flexibility which helps to prevent injuries and keeps us supple and youthful. The breathing practices (pranyama) are the foundation and the link between the mind and the body, providing a valuable tool for releasing tension and reducing stress. The mind/body energy exchange supports mental clarity and concentration, and brings flexibility to our decision making. Our practice of yoga teaches us how to quiet the mind by placing attention on the breath, and also on the movement/stillness of the body.
